A single view chest x-ray will be performed. All images will be forwarded to a B-reader that specializes in reading for occupational lung diseases with a certification from the National Institute on Safety and Health.
An electrocardiogram (EKG) is a graphic recording of the electrical activity of the heart. Inclusion of this test provides a basic evaluation of the heart.
NOWCAP Black Lung & Respiratory Diseases Clinic will pay for this screening in full. Your insurance (if any) will be billed first. If they don’t pay for anything or pay for part of it, we pay for the remainder of the bill. There is absolutely NO COST for you.
